June 2026
After years of war and uncertainty, help us give Israeli children a summer of stability, friendship, and growth.

Dear Friends,

Summer is approaching, and across Israel thousands of children and teens are preparing for camps, trips, leadership programs, and educational experiences that offer something many have been missing for far too long: stability, connection, and the chance to simply be children.

Israel's youth have grown up amid war, displacement, interrupted schooling, and uncertainty. At Dror Israel, we see every day how meaningful educational experiences help children rebuild confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the resilience they need to face an uncertain future with hope.

Our educators are already hard at work preparing summer programs that will reach tens of thousands of children and teens across the country. At the same time, we continue our year-round work to strengthen communities, empower young leaders, and create opportunities for Israelis from all backgrounds to learn, grow, and contribute to society.

We hope you will consider helping us make this summer possible for the children and teens who need it most.

Warmly,
Your Friends at Dror Israel

This Summer Matters More Than Ever

As summer approaches, Dror Israel is preparing to welcome tens of thousands of children and teens to camps, trips, and leadership training institutes across the country.

For traumatized kids who have spent the past years living through war, displacement, sirens, and uncertainty, summer programming is far more than a break from school. It is a chance to breathe, laugh, reconnect with friends, build confidence, and feel safe in the care of trained educators.

This video, filmed during last summer’s programs, offers a glimpse into why these experiences matter so deeply. As we prepare for another summer, we invite you to help ensure that thousands of children and teens have access to the stability, joy, and connection they need.

Building Opportunity in the Negev Through Bedouin Education

At Neveh Midbar Eco-Technology High School in Abu Kurinat, Bedouin teens are gaining far more than vocational training.

Through project-based learning, social pedagogy, and community engagement, students are developing practical skills, leadership, and a sense of responsibility toward strengthening their own communities in the Negev.

From sustainable desert development to early childhood education for Bedouin girls, the school is helping build opportunity and resilience from within.

NOAL Youth Rally Against Violence in Memory of Yemanu Zelka

After the murder of 21 year old Yemanu Zelka last month, participants from NOAL’s Hahoresh branch in Petah Tikva organized a rally against violence together with the municipality.

At a time of rising youth violence and deep social strain across Israel, these teenagers chose not to stay silent. Holding signs reading “The Change Starts With Us” and “We Are All Brothers,” they gathered to mourn, speak out, and call for a different reality.
