Smarsh is adding a new layer of security to Professional Archive (app.smarsh.com) through a partnership with Cloudflare, a global security service that filters out harmful traffic before it can reach our systems. This update helps us better protect Professional Archive from new and emerging security threats.
What does this mean for you?
- If your organization has added Smarsh’ s current IP address to an approved list (i.e. resolved to app.smarsh.com), you’ll need to add that list with our new addresses before September 16, 2026. This can be done anytime from receipt of this message.
- If your organization hasn’t set up this kind of access restriction, no action is needed.
- The current IP address for app.smarsh.com will be transferred to app-legacy.smarsh.com and will continue to work on a temporary basis. This will allow you more time to make the requisite changes.
- If you use Single Sign-On (SSO), you will receive additional information.
